Has Guerrero beaten anyone decent since moving up from 135?

This is fightbeat. If a fighter beats up a list of nobodys until he's 30 years old, he's guaranteed to have at least two guys here drooling over his every move. Spence hasn't even fought a crossroads fight against a has-been yet and he's 26.

Garcia, Maidana, Khan, Porter, AB, Peterson, Matthysse, Bradley, Provo, Rios. These guys have got it all wrong! Facing each other to try to test themselves against the best.

If you want to be the next coming and the top guy in your weight class, just fight bums forever and ever.

He beat the living fuck outta Berto...

Guerrrero is completely used up at this point though. I fully expect Cherry Garcia to stop him.

Details are sketchy, but the feeling is that Thurman held out for more money.

Still not official. But it seems it's closer than before.

This is the Collazo that like 9 years ago gave Hatton a very tough fight and was also beaten up by old ass Shane and crappy ass Khan.

Thurman is "Dynamic"..........yeah ok. He;s a Dynamic Bum.

I wonder if Thurman might be suffering from a dissociative fugue state disorder.

For all we know, he may have forgotten who he is, moved somewhere far away and taken on a new identity. :dunno:

I blame Floyd Mayweather for this type of thinking in fighters.

Floyd fought Corrales when Corrales was unbeaten and a genuine threat to his "0". He fought Castillo, the best champ at lightweight at the time. he fought Oscar, Hatton, Cotto, Canelo. Even Mosley, Ortiz, Pacquiao and Guerero were coming off impressive wins when they fought Mayweather. Come on bra. Floyd wasn't avoiding challenges as is the myth.

    Garcia though....I'm disgusted.

    Floyd wasn't always that way.

But once he moved up to 147 lbs, it became all about "self preservation" and making the most amount of money while's taking the least amount of risk to that 0. And that's how all these guys are thinking now.

We'll have to disagree on that. I don't think Canelo, Hatton and Cotto, just to name three....were minimal risk fights. Who would have been tougher fights for Floyd at the time?

Anyway...I don't think all these guys are thinking this way, just Angel Garcia.

The problem with Angel's strategy is simple.... Danny isn't that good. One of these days the cherry picking is gonna backfire on them and one of these guys will defeat his son.

This isn't like Roy or Floyd. Those guys were sure things against lesser opposition because they were exceptional talents. Danny isn't. He's a limited fighter and one of these lesser opponents is gonna beat him. It won't be Guerrero though. The Guerrrero of like 4 years ago would have a good chance to beat Garcia, but he's washed up now.
