Can Garcia gift his way to a win over Carr?

Carr would have to be favored. Especially in light of Saturday's fight.

    Agreed.

Carr was too skillful for Danny Stiff. He'd have had zero problems with the Ghost.

    Carr via UD.

Carr would win 8 rounds, but the judges would have Garcia winning 11-1.

True... But he gave De La Hoya more than he wanted in their fight before getting stopped.

Maybe it's a closer fight than I think, but I think Carr would beat Garcia.

    THis

Carr might win, but it's far from a given

I can't think of a Garcia opponent that Carr wouldn't be a large favorite over

He wouldnt be a favorite over Khan (at least not a huge favorite). Sure for a "certain" reason, Khan is considered a total scrub around here, but objectively hes has better victories than Carr has ( he also has more humiliating defeat though)

The love for 90's fighters is strong in this forum. Garcia-Carr would be a competitive fight. Depends on which Carr shows up, at his very best, I think he wins a close fight where he gets rocked late a couple of time but survive
