You could make a legit case that based on styles this is THE BEST matchup to be made in heavyweight history. I'm always torn. I think last time I leaned towards Frazier by late stoppage. This time I'm hesitating. Louis was such a quick starter, and soooooo explosive and compact with his combos, that I could see him stopping Frazier within 6. Really torn. 50-50 fight. But if I absolutely HAD to choose, I'd still go with the 71 Frazier.
Yup, I'm torn as well. Hard to say for many reasons. I'm trying to picture Louis dealing the the constant bobbing and weaving style of Frazier. How does Louis deal with that left hook. Conversely, can Frazier avoid that fast ramrod jab of Louis and how would he deal with those pinpoint accurate combinations on the inside? I think both men can be hurt and both men have heart and stamina. Tough tough tough to pick. I lean towards Louis
