Nothing interesting about a shut out.

Gift couldn't even adjust to Mauricio Herrera.

Stylistically it's by far the easiest fight for Mayweather of the Welterweight titlists.

I think Mayweather matches up very well with Garcia, as well, but I like this fight. Garcia is proven tough, proven good, and it will be one of Floyd's better opponents.

Garcia vs Bradley is a better matchup. Perhaps a pick'em fight.

Just Cause Floyd SAYS this would "Upstage" Canelo-Khan DOESN'T Mean it Would...

Granted, Floyd-Garcia is the BETTER Fight, but Floyd "Musta Forgot" that Even his Faux "Retirement Fight" did SHIT #'s, Compared to his Norm...

After the Marathon he Ran vs Pacquiao, Floyd Needs to Consider the Likelihood he's NOT the Draw he Used to Be...Coming Off the Kirkland and Cotto Fights, REED Thinks Canelo Outsells Floyd vs Just About Anybody, Save for Pacquiao II....

    Danny Garcia AIN'T a Draw...

I have to agree with REED... Sure there are the Floyd fans who will buy it, but Garcia isn't a much bigger draw than Berto. Nobody really believes Garcia has a chance.

It would be more interesting if Floyd came back and fought Kell Brook. But he would have to go to England to make it a real box office smash, because Brook is a non-entity in the US.

The interest in Mayweather has dropped for his fights. He won't reach his usual numbers vs Garcia.

Brook would be more challenging, though. Not saying he'd BEAT Floyd.

But he'd have a better shot than Garcia.

How long had he been away? You seriously trying to compare these two as 39 year olds?

Mayweather had a fight in September for fuck's sake ... Get real

And when Leonard came out of retirement he took on Marvin fucken Hagler and the next time Terry Norris. Both fights he was an underdog in.

There are a lot of folk going to look silly when Brook is exposed as an absolute protected mook. He's fucking garbage.

In Fairness to Puerto Rock, he DID Say "Go to England"...As Is, YES, Garcia's More Appealing...But On a Worldwide, Intrigue Scale, Brook Would Be a Better Option...

"Floyd Attempts to Surpass Marciano's Mark of 49-0, in his 1st Fight ABROAD, vs. the Undefeated Kell Brook"...STYLISTICALLY, the Bout Would Be More Intriguing Also, Given Brook's Height Advantage, Length and Speed...But as Doub Pointed Out YEARS Ago, Floyd's Not Really Keen on Facing TALLER Guys, Unless he Absolutely HAS To...

Brook is rubbish. He's 35-0 and has precisely one decent win on his record. One. He is the classic British protected titlist. This talk of him being worth a decent fight is crazy. Spence would light him up. To name but one.

i dunno man, I think Brook's a bad man, protected or not. He proves himself in that one step up in competition. He's a tough fight for any welterweight

REED is Only Saying Brook is a More INTRIGUING Opponent than Garcia...Garcia's a Walking "12-0 Loss" Waiting to Happen, as it Pertains to Facing Floyd...@ the VERY Least, Brook Presents a STYLISTIC Picture Floyd Hasn't Had Many Looks @ in his Career...

    Yep...

Now THAT Fight "Upstages" Canelo-Khan by Light Years...If That Bout Happened (Fuck Winning, if Floyd Merely SHOWED UP for Fightnight), REED Would Get "Floyd Mayweather - T.B.E." TRAMP STAMPED Just Above his Ass...No Bullshit...That's How Certain REED Is of that Bout NEVER Happening, or Even Being Loosely Talked about/"Negotiated"...

There's a BETTER Chance of Irish Being Elected the Head of an NAACP Chapter, than Floyd-GGG Occuring...

Brook would throw about five punches per round en route to a 12-0 loss. Honestly, he's typical Ingle rubbish.

He 'proved' in his one step up fight that he was decent in elite company. That was his cash-out fight. Hearn cannot believe his luck that Brook actually won that fight. Since then he has run back to Sheffield and feasted on absolute bums again. His next fight is against another bum. He'll fight bums from now 'til forever.

i too am not impressed with brook (and even less with his record) and befuddled by the amount of people here who consider him a top welterweight.

Leonard was actually a pretty solid betting favorite against Norris.

Leonard had already become a cherry-picker by then, so he probably underestimated Norris because of the Jackson loss and was delusional about how much he had left.

Why should a 39 year old former super featherweight who is 10 years removed from his prime have to fight a prime Middleweight to prove himself? And we all know that if he fought and beat GGG the hater will just say that GGG was shit and that he needs to fight Kovalev. Lol
