I loved the original movie as a kid. For this I don't have very high expectations

 

An all-female cast: one fat, one SezLez-looking and one unheard of, in a movie where they blatantly copy everything from the original?

 

When I heard Melissa McCarthy was in this, I thought that was brilliant casting.


Then I found out she's not playing the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man and changed my mind.

I think they should remake Gladiator and cast a transgender Asian amputee as Maximus.

 

I like that they kept the black guy from the original one as one of the new Ghostbusters.

It looks sooooo bad...and unfunny....like I said this will set females back 100 years...don't remake a classic...never..esp. when you do it gender or race...let's remake The Godfather...with Russians.....

 

How dare you be so politically incorrect! You should be praising the equality, diversity and inclusiveness of this trailer which had 24 million views on its first 24 hours of release.

 

FIrst week will be a big week...but 2nd week it will fall of dramatically...more than the usual....Dykes will show up by the truck loads..

 

It would still be better than with say an Italian female as godfather and made women...


With ghostbusters you wonder who green lights shit like this and at the same time Deadpool has to fight for years to get a movie? This will be one of the biggest flops ever.

Wow that looks bad. Is it supposed to be a Scary Movie style parody? If so then ok I get it. If it's meant to be a straight reboot it looks horrid.

"That's gonna leave a mark"? That was funny when I first heard it: John Candy in Spaceballs. What is up with the hollering black character? Isn't this meant to be a progressive movie?

Maybe it's just an awful trailer but this looks real bad so far.

 

Honestly I don't get all the hate. Sure, I was one of the first to say that an all female cast was a bad idea, but this trailer is decent and got me interested. Most of the people that trash the trailer point out mostly the gender issue which reminds me of all the hate The Force Awakens trailer generated because of the 'black stormtrooper'. If the film turns out good and funny I don't care who are the stars as long as it is entertaining. If the film sucks (like Ghostbusters 2 did) then nothing can stop the trashing.
