X Gon Give to ya...more so Disney Animation's Zootopia which raced to box office supremacy, knocking down from the top FOX clown superhero Deadpool after three consecutive weeks of ruling as undisputed king. 'Zootopia' racked $73.7 million and became the biggest opener ever for a Disney Animation studio film besting 'Frozen' which opened to $67.4 million in 2012 AND became the forth biggest March debut ever. Since 'Zootopia' opened overseas three weeks ago, now it has a cumulative gross of $232 million and counting.

London Has Fallen came in a distant second place debuting with $21.5 million which is lower than 'Olympus Has Fallen' $30 million opening. The $60 million production better not drop much next week and do well overseas if it wants to make a buck.

Moving to the third spot on its fourth week Daedpool took $16.4 million and surpassed the $300 million mark domestically ($311 million). Not only that, the Marvel character now can boast that it is the highest grossing X-Men film in the whole franchise. So far it has made worldwide $673 million and will definitely is going to surpass 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' global numbers. Like the Merc with a Mouth would say, 'Take that and FUCK YOU, WOLVERINE!'

Opening to disappointing numbers, though not surprising, is Tina Fey's political dramedy Wiskey Tango Foxtrot which grabbed only an anemic $7.6 million. This is bad news for Paramount's $35 million production which was heavily advertised on tv and everywhere else. They should know by know that Tina Fey is poison at the box office.

And to finish the top five, Gods of Egypt, the biggest flop of the year so far, took $5 million for a two weeks total of $22 million. BTW 'Risen' cost less and is making more money.

Last but not least, Best Picture of the Year Oscar winner 'Spotlight' expanded to 1,000 screens and was largely ignored by audiences as it landed in the #13 spot with a disappointing $1.8 million.

Meanwhile China's The Mermaid has surpassed the $500 million mark worldwide. In good ole USA has made only $2 million. Chinese media writers are baffled by our lack of interest in such a great blockbuster film.
