Narcos

New netflix series based on drug lord Pablo Escobar. (i don't have netflix but downloaded it from a torrent site)

I only watched the first two episodes but it's pretty good so far.

 

I want to check it out soon. Heard that Oberyn from Game of Thrones is in it.

Started watching. It's damn near impossible for druglord shows to not be entertaining. Seems like the scripting is kinda ripped off from Goodfellas, the way it is told in the non-chalant fashion. Pablo's character suffers the same thing, to an extreme that I would consider it not particularly well-acted.

 

Anthony's the go-to on Narcos - but yeah, great show.

 

I watched the first three episodes but I am not sure if I'll get back to it.

Based on the start it seemed like a story that has been told too many times and only slightly better than crap like Sons of Anarchy and such

 

I just can't get into it, for the same reason UGO stated. The Escobar story has been told to death.

This show is damned good. Nice Tits and ass throughout the show too (makes me want to go to Colombia on a boys trip).

Ya i watched the whole thing (assuming there is still just 1 season).

It was pretty descent.

I thought there was another thread on this already, just checked and there is. I commented a bit more on it there. In a nutshell its entertaining, but the story and acting style is played out.

 

Is it just me or is the guy that plays Pablo's cousin a dead ringer for Juan Manuel Marquez

 

Was a great series. Apparently they've been green-lighted for a second season.
