Only guy I remember Hagler fighting that was anywhere near as tall as Pavlik was Hearns, who was a blown up Welterweight who had already been stopped at the lower weight. Pavlik would be by far the biggest man Hagler has fought. Bigger taller stronger. Hagler was a smaller man than Hopkins. Anyway, Marvin wins but stoppage is unlikely, cuts or otherwise.
Fully Obel, Willie Monroe and Bobby Watts were all 6 feet or taller. Hagler shreds the Ghost. Like X said Hagler's jab would do a number on Pavlik and he would tag him with power shots from both sides again and again. Ghost is a tough guy but he's not bringing anything to the table that Hagler hasn't seen.
Ghost brings the proud distinction of being whipped by his holy eminence, Hopkins. That, for Sly is enough to prove that Hagler couldn't POSSIBLY do a better job. Always an agenda. Always.
