We all know Mosley had trouble with tall guys. Does Breland hold up against Sugar Shane's quick hands and workrate?
Oh so Mosley wins without question but Mayweather who is better than Shane in almost every category may not be able to deal with the height? I see how it goes around here....
Plus the categories where Mosley is better (punching power and attacking mainly) are the essential ones in this bout
When exactly was it proven Shane has trouble with height? Forrest because I think that was all about Forrest's style not his height.
Shane's only edge is in power. Handspeed too...but that's not an edge per se, because Floyd's more accurate with his punches anyway and his counter attack handspeed is better than Shane's. Shane's just a faster flurrier which is virtually meaningless.
ppppppfffffffffaaaaaahahahahahahaha! Speedy Slick Slugger vs Master Boxer and you pick the slugger? Shameful.
I think Floyd COULD beat a prime Shane in theory, but a prime Mosley is not going to get tired after 2 rounds. Mosley would keep on the pressure and his strength inside and speed of attack would see Mayweather have worse problems than he had against Castillo and yes the likes of old De La Hoya, Maidana, and to a lesser degree, Cotto. No guarantee Floyd beats a prime Mosley.
Prime Mosley was always a spurt fighter. He didn't maintain a consistent work rate as is the myth. The fight would have been closer than their actual fight but only marginally. Mayweather would have controlled the pace and outboxed him cleanly. I never had a doubt about that...even at the time when they were both prime.
