Marvel's own Loki, Tom Hiddleston! While some fans are rooting for Idris Elba, the Bookmakers have stopped the bettings on Tom Hiddlestone due to the overwhelming bets on the actor. While Hiddlestone is a fine actor and women just squirt at his mere sight, I don't like him as Bond. He is too damned skinny! He will need to add at least 20 lbs of muscle to his frame and get a better haircut and dye his hair. I don't like his voice either. Oh, well, I might be wrong and maybe he could do a fine Bond. One thing is for sure: the ladies will flock to watch him as Bond!

This actor looks more Bond than Hiddlestone or Elba.

    Aidan Turner

Fassbender is the only guy that should be considered for the role. Give him first refusal I say.

Tom Hiddleson is a GREAT actor but I don't see him as Bond, he's better as a villain (Loki is the best Villain in the MCU so far). Still, he could pull it off given his talent and looks.

Is Daniel Craig retiring from acting????....because WHAT ELSE is he going to do??? ...I know he's a good actor I saw him in that jew hiding in the forest from Nazis...but still Bond's is easy MONEY.

And I agree with Exaggerator...the next bond should be Fassbender....Loki doesn't look manly enough...he look a bit effeminate...just three notches above Orlando Bloom..in that category.

It's the kind of shit where the popularity made sense in the Cold War era... Post-Cold War? Totally superfluous character, pointless really

What cdoggy is trying to say in his politically correct liberal way is...that Bond has outlived his usefulness...womenizer, anti-liberties, super pro-govern stands are no longer the status quo.......it's Jason Bourne time...liberal loner.....fighting for justice...looking for truth...fighting the G...

What you say makes a lot of sense. Bond is definitely more suited to m the Cold War climate.

The Man from U.N.C.L.E. did just that and nobody watched that movie even though it was very good.

Lol nah I just mean espionage is less exciting in the post Cold War era... In the globalized world of today, the Internet world, different countries are less distinct, less mysterious

    Terrible idea .

Action films have to be contemporary. People expect to see mobile phones, Internet etc

Certain genres can get away with historical settings, but not action.

Raiders of The Lost Ark is the best action/adventure film ever and is set on 1938.

yes, but it's about archeology so it can get away with that. But a bond type film would need contemporary tech

you made a general statement about action films, thus my response. A good action film knows no boundaries or limitations.

Committing to Bond would wreck his career.

It will not wreck his career, but Fassbender is already in two other franchises. That could be overexposure.

The commitment is more than just playing the role - there is no way Fassbender could feature in the same amount of movies.

There is a reason Craig wants out

The ladies would certainly agree... Among all the world's females aged 5 to 95, Idris Elba seems to have a 99% approval rating

Yeah and it wouldn't exactly ruin Elba's career. Lot less roles out there for blackactors, especially with Denzel still sweeping up all the middle aged top gigs. Hell, Elba would do that shit til he's Sean Connery's age.
