I see this as a very intriguing fight. Haugen was only dominated once in his prime, by Whitaker. Johnston was a quality fighter, but several levels below Whitaker. Johnston was a tad bit quicker and more talented, but that might be negated by the fact that Haugen was actually more crafty, and while not fast, he had deceptive quickness. And while not a big puncher, he had deceptive pop as a counter puncher. I think this would be a close fight, but if I had to favor anyone I think Haugen might edge it. Then if they had a rematch, Stevie would probably adjust and win a close one. Either way, this would be a really competitive fight.
Agree... perfect blend of styles, the busy and quick Johnson against the quasi-sharpshooter in Haugen ... Apples and Oranges for anyone scoring the fight
