Would this end in a decision or stoppage?

lets face it. ruiz barely made it out of round 3 of the first fight vs a very old holyfield. there is no trilogy here vs a prime version

I don't know how "shot" Holyfield was against Ruiz. Let's not forget that he was coming from a very close, even contentious, decision against Lewis, just the fight before. Obviously, Holy should win this, but I think that even a prime version of him (which in his case is very hard to pinpoint) would struggle

Agreed. The only guys that beat prime Ruiz easily were counterpunchers, Ruiz was an expert in smothering inside fighting.

Holyfield would always have trouble getting his combinations going against Ruiz, and the Holy if 90-92 wouldn't knock him out with single shots.

The fact that old Holyfield hurt Ruiz doesn't mean much, as single moments rarely do. Holy 8-4, 9-3 or so

Holyfield beats his ass easily. May not stop him, but he wins virtually every round.

I must've missed David Tua "counterpunching" Ruiz
