Surely, you can understand why the reverse would also likely be true?

I'm not really sure why folks want to argue about the trinidad delahoya decision. Regardless of who u think won both looked awful

Exactly. I always wish that fight was scored a draw as neither man deserved to have their hand raised when it was over.

Agreed. Although you're still wrong about MAB-Morales II.

Brian Kenny and a couple of HBO analysts agreed with the judges that Bradley won. I had it a draw, but close fight either way so i could accept either guy in a close decision, which is exactly what happened.

Morales feets were very slow for a guy his weight class. Theres a reason why a mediocre guy like zahir raheem was able to outpoint him by simply using lateral movements. His hands were a bit faster, but he still was far from a speed merchant (though i must say that rewatching this fight, i had forgot that he was noticeably faster in his prime than he was later on). Dude was a huge warrior though and had a great variety of punches

Horrible way to watch a fight

He lost by a mile unless clean punching is no longer a criteria in boxing matches

If somebody knows so little about boxing that the TV crew can affect their scorecard, that's on them. It has zero effect on me as evidenced by the fact that my scorecard usually bears zero resemblance to the commentators' in the matches I watch

I had bradley Pac 1 closer than most since Bradley slipped a lot of punches, but I still think he lost it rather clearly

Whilst all this lockdown shit is going on I've been going over some old fights and re-scoring them. This was one of them as it's one of my favourite fights ever. At the time I remember having it fairly clear for Barrera as I mentioned in this thread but when I re-scored it last night I had it a lot closer than I did originally. 114-113 Barrera with the final round knockdown clinching it for MAB. In reality that shouldn't have been a knockdown so the fairest result should have been a draw. This round is kind of a microcosm of the whole fight in that Morales was doing the more sustained work whilst Barrera would suddenly come through with these frenzied, violent bursts. I scored round 5 for Morales. Great, great fight.
