    Sugar Ray Leonard-Wilfred Benitez

Not just hand speed or foot speed, but Duran and Benitez had super fast reflexes, particularly defensive, matched up with Leonard's blazing speed.

Even though there's no footage of it, the fight did happen, so I'll nominate Robinson-Gavilan. Both had blazing handspeed.

Even though neither are that fast, Coralles x Castillo 1 looked fast...there were so many punches being thrown

Crazy how no footage of their fights exists...

I was actually impressed with Corrales's handspeed on the inside. He threw quick punches that didn't travel much distance, and there were fluid, educated combos.

I remember one of FB's resident dummies (maybe CYC?) said Corrales had slow hands. WTF? Slow feet, but his hand speed was solid.

I've always maintained that he had fast hands, very fast hands actually. People around here seem to think Tito had faster hands even in absolute terms, which is utter nonsense. Tito had reasonably quick hands make no mistake but Corrales hand speed was blazing.

Floyd made him look slow and that's all people remember. But even in that fight it wasn't that Floyd was faster if hand per se the issue was in timing and defense to offense transition both of which Floyd was a master of. When you have those advantages over an opponent it doesn't matter how fast their hands are you always appear faster.

I think Trinidad had quicker hands than Corrales.

    But Corrales' punches were shorter.
