Mayweather acted in the ring like Robert Guerrero was Earnie Shavers... Outside of jumping out of the ring every time Jackson is within three feet of him, I can't see what his strategy would be in such a match

Yeah but he didn't act that way against Mosley, Judah, Cotto or even De la Hoya who each were known as hard punchers and punched considerably harder than Guerero. Hell Molaey even wobbled him and he still forced the fight. So you can't just go by one fight here and there.

Anyway, Jackson has a punchers chance, no doubt , if he catches Floyd with the type of punch Shane caught him with Floyd goes to sleep for the night. Wakes up on Monday morning. But a punchers chance is all jacksons has. He can't box with Floyd and Jackson was not a high workrate guy who forced a hard pace. He had limited defense and boxing skills ( graham fight before the KO).

Floyd by decision or Jackson be come from behind Hail Mary KO

Jackson could actually win a decision here if Floyd doesn't open up as much

Based on the precedent of Mayweather never coming close to standing in the same ring as a guy like this... Guys like Mike McCallum survived him, big strong guys with steel chins

I have absolutely zero doubt in my mind that Jackson would have laid Floyd the fuck out in style.

FAAARRRR lesser fighters than Jackson have landed flush on Floyd, esp at the higher weights.

Floyd is pound 4 pound better.

But at 154 pounds, he is NOT gonna beat Jackson.

He'd get caught eventually and I don't see him handing it well.
