Jofre ... Picture all the best guys Pacquaio faced, and he faced some outstanding guys... Morales, MAB, JMM, throw Ledwaba in there too, he was real good... Now imagine a guy who does everything those guys did better than any of them do it and he's one guy and he's got a steel jaw on top of it... Pacquaio fights hard and loses with gusto... Jofre was a rare bird

 

You think Jofre could dance with Pacquaio at 126 also?

 

He was good enough to take several years off and then come back at 126 and tangle with cats like Jose Legra... I reckon so

 

would be a good fight. seems like pac's speed and legs would give jofre problems.

 

Young Pac falls in with his punches and doesn't have anywhere near the kind of footwork he had by the time he got to 135 and especially later. Jofre walks him down and fucks him up.

 

Not the best quality, but nice footage of Jofre meticulously beating the daylights out of tough Bernardo Caraballo, who a little later would give Fighting Harada a terrific challenge

i used to have some really good quality jofre rights on vhs that i paid through the nose for.

 

me too and I don't know what the fuck happened to them!

 

i ended up just throwing out all my vhs. basically, too busy/lazy to digitize them, and figure i can always just watch on youtube.

 

I still have some boxes but I think 90% of what I have or had is on YouTube and a lot of it in better quality
