While he's doing that, these critics are lying on their backs in the crunch position farting repeatedly into their own nose and mouth and savoring the flavor. SAVORING

 maybe. I didn't really see the problem with the list tho. I didn't really get mullholland drive but it's probably the type of thing that's meant to be watched more than once. Adaptation should have been on there

And what point is that? That he was struggling with the local language before occasionally meeting scarlet johannsson in the said lobby, sipping cocktails?

From the list I liked the hurt locker and zero dark thirty, even though both are a tad overrated to be honest. Interesting to see no action or fantasy films on the list. Critics refuse to rate those genres for fear of losing respect from the fraternity. Kinda how art critics would sooner rate a " picture" that is just random splashes of paint and colour over a painting that looks like a photograph.

Sorry but the film didn't deliver. It didn't resonate. It was incredibly uninteresting and had poor pacing. I knew what it was trying to do and I usually like films with those subtle messages of attraction etc ( "Cairo Time" is a classic that you might like) but that film simply didn't perform and you were left with a boring mess where Bill Murray was just in a hotel lobby sipping cocktails.

Nah, it's the same mentality that fans of music have for rating groups hardly anyone knows or boxing fans like Bert Sugar rating Eder Joffre over Muhammad Ali.

It's an attempt to appear extra knowledgeable and insightful. It's cuntish

Certainly not my experience. For every one plonker doing that there're fifty guys who just happen to like a few among the gazillion films out there which didn't show at cineworld

I could pick like 5 out of that 100 list that I agree must be counted among the best so far of the 21st century, but the rest, honestly, are just art house darlings that couldn't even crack the Best Picture Oscar nominations of their year of release (and we KNOW how overrated those are!).
