Smith is a game, tough, come forward lad, but the truth is.... he's completely tailor made for the Ginger. There's a huge gap in this fight in terms of skill, talent, and speed.

Canelo will light him up until either the ref or Smith's corner has seen enough.

i hope alvarez destroys this guy and the next guys prior to golovkin fight. odds might sway to alvarez being favored

 

Think Smith will have his moments but favour Canelo for sure.

 

Alvarez would never be favoured over GGG, not while Golovkin remains unbeaten.

But Canelo TKO 6 for me. He's just a better fighter fighter than Smith who will make it entertaining for sure. He'll get his licks in. But he's not strong enough to deter Canelo and he can't make him miss and pay.

Smith is a game, reasonably tough domestic level fighter who lucked into the limelight with some wins over poor opposition. He's horribly overmatched here and he'll lose inside six rounds.

Yeah. With a STACKED undercard I'd at least CONSIDER ordering, but this is one of the worst undercards ever, and the main event is a mismatch.

I can't see how Smith wins, but for Christ sake, I at least wanna see him make a fight of this. He SEEMS to have a solid chin, but that's purely speculation since it's never been really tested by domestic level, much less a world class level offensive fighter like Crapnelo.

Granted, Smith put on a good performance in breaking down John Thompson, but even that fight I watched thinking "A guy like Canelo would kill him."

So, I'm sticking with my prediction. Canelo wins in under 7 in a slaughter. I expect Smith to be game, but can't see what more he offers besides heart and toughness.

I'll pray for the unlikely though. Seeing Ginger catch an ass whuppin would be the most satisfying thing in the last 10 years for me.

 

Gabe Rosado is totally used up, bruh. And, he cuts if you stare at him hard.

I expect Monroe to win.
