Yeah. Basically. Timmy the head of course would fight with all his heart. Problem is he plain and simple doesn't have the pop to keep the Hawk off him. Plus, when Bradley's been most effective it was due to him having a quickness/athleticism edge. He's fucked here, because Pryor was faster than him and more athletic. Realistically, Bradley woulda gotten stopped by Prov if Prov wasn't such a horrible finisher. Pryor's one of the best finishers that ever lived. I think Pryor beats him up and eventually stops him.
Mid to late stoppage for Pryor. Hard to see it going any other way. Maybe Bradley goes the distance but i wouldn't bet on it.
Timmy would fight bravely and give it an honest go... But he's totally outgunned. Every major advantage goes to Pryor. I think Bradley wilts from the punishment within 6 rounds.
I think it would be a very entertaining competitive fight with Pryors power making the difference. Pryors skills were shit and a prime Bradley is a resilient dude, so I don't see a blowout.
Whatever skills Pryor lacked were made up for the fact that he was a generational type talent. Bradley ain't exactly Ezzard Charles in the skills department. Timmy the head was never particularly skilled. Got by more on quickness and being extremely scrappy and mentally strong. But all that matters for nothing against Pryor.
Pryor wasn't a "generational talent". He wasn't as fast as you make out, he was a decent puncher but not a huge one and for all the talk of his iron chin he got dropped on his fucking face in almost every title fight he had. Bradley can easily hit him and he can take Pryors shots and survive when hurt. He may get stopped but it's an entertaining close scrap while it lasts.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=RxXeXrYQlsw This kind of talent only comes by once in a generation, if that.
You're a well documented Pryor hater. But the fact remains that he was an unique fighter and there hasn't been one like him since. And the fact also remains that he was one of, if not the best junior welter that ever lived.
