I assume we mean the St. Valentines day version?

    If so, Golov loses big.

Robinson via UD if it's a 12 rounder. In a 15 rounder, I think Robinson gets the stoppage for sure. But who am I kidding, it might not take that long.

If KELL BROOK could make it interesting and buzz GGG, Robinson's punches are gonna do some serious damage.

GGG appears to have a solid chin. Apparently he's never been dropped, even as an amateur. Why the hell, therefore, would we assume that Ray Robinson knocks him out.

GGG is a better fighter than Robert DeNiro...er jake Lamotta

Pleeeaaaaaaassee, let's not compare the resumes of Walker Smith and GGG. I assure you, it's a comparison that Borat won't win.

Obviously Robinson's resume blows GGG's out of the water, solar system even. That wasn't Sly's point though. Golovkin hasn't been dropped or stopped as an amateur or pro, or even significantly hurt as far as I'm aware, so picking Robinson by KO at this present time seems a bit over the top since quite a few fighters were able to take 160 Robinson the distance. If GGG gets sparked later on down the line then obviously that opinion can be revised but I'd like to see some evidence he wouldn't be able to take the firepower first.

Right now with his resume as it is I wouldn't pick GGG over Trinidad, much less Robinson. He can be hit, he will be hit against top opposition and he hasn't fought the comp or taken the bombs to act like him vs a big puncher is an irresistible force vs an immovable object.

It's kind of hard to rate SRR exactly as a puncher. He had lots and lots of ko's and some of them were against HOF level guys known for being tough. But even at welter his KO% wasn't that high and he went the distance with a lot of guys you'd expect a big puncher to ko, especially one that's also a great fighter.

I dunno if he'd beat Tito anymore either.

Tito never lost to a guy who came forward and traded with him. Ever if Golov beats the Hell outta Crapnelo, it's not much of an indication of how he'd do against Trinidad. Tito was several levels better than Ginger.

One thing's for sure, after the first Trinidad left hook lands, Golov would know he's not in with LeMoo or Kell Brook.
