Nah...if nothing else, Mason had a solid chin. Seldon was not putting him to sleep.

 

It makes me laugh when I see guys like Steve Bunce dragging up these British HW Champs of yesteryear and suggesting that they were some class of brilliant fighters who never got a shot or the recognition they deserved, like he bangs on about the "Forgotten Generation" of the 1980's from the USA, like they would have all picked up titles if it weren't for Tyson, Lewis and Oldyfield.

The inept Dokes, a guy wasted by Gerrie Coetzee, beat the piss out of John L Gardiner.

Mason is most famous for being killed on his bicycle in London.

 

That's possible. As I said, they are both shite. Wouldn't put a bean on picking a winner of this one.
