WTF is Daredevil doing in that poster? What is he going to do against Thanos? Sue him?

 

So basically, as follows:
Captain America: Civil War, things weren’t so hunky dory: rift between Iron Man and Captain America split our superheroes in two factions, and that’s not even taking into account the fact that Thor and The Hulk were somewhere else in the universe, Thor: Ragnarok.

Avwngers: Infinity War trailer opens with Thor being flung against the windshield of the Milano, the ship commanded by Star-Lord from Guardians of the Galaxy.
“Get it off!” shouts Rocket, as though a bug had been smushed there.

Mantis brings Thor back to life, and he promptly greets our Guardians with an unfriendly, “Who the hell are you?”
It then seems like Thor joins forces with the Guardians to guide them to Earth, where we see the following things go down, in quick succession:

Scarlet Witch seems to cut a flaming car in half. It looks like The Vision, might be trapped nearby, and to judge from their faces, something sad and bad is going down.

“Death follows him like a shadow,” we hear, as ultimate villain Thanos, voice-overs.

Suddenly, Loki appears, cutting through flaming wreckage to grab the Tesseract, which holds one of the Infinity Stones. Is this what Scarlet Witch and Vision were trying to prevent?

Next, there’s a glimpsé of Peter Parker on his school bus. The hair on his arms stands up.

“He’s come to us,” someone says, as some alien ships crash-land on a wrecked Earth. A worried Mantis stands with Iron Man, Thor, Doctor Strange, The Hulk, and the other heroes as the aircrafts approach.

“This does put a smile on my face,” intones Thanos, as Gamora takes in the wreckage of the room kept by the Collector.
More Infinity Stones pillaged.

And that’s when Thanos walks through a portal onto Earth — . Star-Lord and Doctor Strange leap into action, harnessing magic and airborne stepping stones.
Spider-Man swings into the scene, wearing a new suit

We see Black Widow, who’s blonde now, and Captain America, who’s bearded now.

In the final moments, Thanos grabs Thor’s head in his hsnd: “You can run from it,but your destiny still arrives.”
And then he holds up one hand and seemingly destroys a planet far away in the sky — or, if this scene is taking place on earth, our moon — and heaves the remains of it at our Avengers in a single shot.

 

It’d be awesome if this gets an R rating because if they follow the comic then pretty much everyone dies.

 

I doubt it.
Look at the audience Marvel have right now. They aren't going to damage that with any replica of the comic.

 

Furthermore, there are too many characters in The Infinity War comic that aren't' in any of the MCU movies. ...

 

Captain America winter soldier was a dark gritty thriller, so they’re capable of doing that

 

Yeah, but they won't 'R' rate it...
In fact the Captain America movies because of the gritty darkness are my favourite.

Plus, Chris Evans 'looks' better (and somehow bigger) than Chris Hemsworth does as Thor - a character who is 6'6" and 400lb.

The Hulk: "Thor....baby-arms"

 

I think they both look equally good in their roles.

But yes the dark gritty films are the best

I'm going to watch this trailer at least 100 times this week.

 

Always was excited for this movie but the trailer is lacking IMO. The Avengers :Age of Ultron trailer was fucking bad ass.

I agree with the Ultron trailer but how can you say that his trailer is "lacking"? This trailer kicks absolute ass.

 

Looks good, but I don't like Thanos look without his signature skull cap./helmet. Also he looks too rubbery.

 

Not sure I like the trailer.
