    That's grounds for "unfriending".

He's definitely one of the top 5 from Philadelphia who have also had a TV show and some hit raps and have a name that starts with W

He's obviously nowhere near top 5 but he's a decent actor. You can't be that bad an actor when you're the lead in one of the best sitcoms ever.

Martin Lawrence is the lead of the best sitcoms ever (better than Fresh Prince).

Is Martin Lawrence a great actor?

He isn't but likewise, he isn't a bad actor either.

Anyway, I do agree that Will Smith being one of the top 5 actors ever is an absolutely insane statement, just pointing out he's not horrible.

This is not surprising. The fact that xplosive has retarded friends . Will Smith is horrible. He can't act at all. That 7 pound movie where he tried to act was hilariously horrible. This guy is fresh prince of bell air in all his roles and even that fresh prince is basically an extension of himself so hardly that's good acting.

Fresh Prince of Bel Air is the funniest and best sitcom of all time in my opinion.

Martin and All In The Family were the two funniest sitcoms I've ever seen.

Fresh Prince isn't the best sitcom of all time, it's up there though. It would make my top ten.

It would make my top 10 also. But it definitely can't be number 1. It was a bit too "safe" to be number 1.

But not AS safe as a shitty sitcom like Family Matters, which has ZERO replay value today.

Yeah agreed on it being too safe to have a claim for number one.

Not even sure what my number one would be actually. Probably Only Fools or Blackadder.

Was this friend youngish and wearing skinny jeans? Because that would almost make it understandable.

Nope. He's in his early 30s, so not youngish.

Have you ever watched it? Prior to the changing of the Aunt Viv actress (after that it went downhill fast), that was an absolutely excellent show. Every single character was great...unlike most sitcoms where most of the characters, save for a couple, are annoying spastics. So many great episodes:

    1. When Carlton went to the hood and learned how to be a "homie"
    2. When they conned Jeffrey (or Geoffrey) making him think he won the lottery
    3. When Will was dating the daughter of "Dr No" (Same guy who acted as Shaft)
    4. When Malcolm Jamal Warner co starred as Hillary's boyfriend and proceeded to sue Uncle Phil for a car accident

    list goes on.

In my opinion it's the best ever.

Aunt Viv was changed because she (dark skinned Aunt Viv) was a miserable bitch who couldn't get along with any of the cast.

Perhaps. Nevertheless the show started going downhill immediately after that change. It was still good...but nowhere near where it was prior.

He's decent. Not as bad as some people make him out to be.

I will admit to being a mark for NBC's sitcom run of "The Cosby Show", "A Different World" and for a brief period at the end of the other shows runs, "Fresh Prince".

All seemed to start off strong and got less and less watchable the longer they were on the air.

I probably watched less of "Fresh Prince" because it was always paired with some unwatchable shit like "Blossom" or "Joey" or whatever other shit they were playing on Monday nights.

The other shows were on Thursday nights, which always seemed to have much better shows to complement each other with.

Married with Children worst episode totally murders the Fresh Prince entire run.
