I'm honestly curious because I do not watch many of them, but am interested to know if I am missing anything good.

I've watched super-store, two broke girls and superior donuts and haven't liked any of them. I do like Mom though. Has anyone watched it? Oh, I also watched the one with Minnie Driver and thought it was shitty.

If we're talking traditional 1/2 hour network fare, not sure I have seen much since "Community" and "Parks & Rec" left the air.

Saw 1 or 2 episodes of "Superstore" and thought it was ok, but never followed up on it. Was always curious about "The Carmichael Show" because I really like his stand-up act, but never got around to watching it.

I'll watch a lot of stuff FX puts on in the 1/2 hour format. "Always Sunny in Philadelphia", "Louis", "Better Things", "Atlanta", "You're The Worst", etc.....

"Always Sunny" is probably the closest to a sitcom of those listed.

Then there's other random stuff like "Drunk History", "American Dad", "Bob's Burgers", "Rick & Morty", "Workaholics", "Broad City"..................

Pretty much all modern sit-coms, UK or USA are fucking shit, because they´ve toned-down totally what you can and cannot say...that will make people laugh.

I've heard it's quite good actually, but I'm not a fan of Johnny Vegas so I'll probably never watch it.

Didn't realise that was still going. My cringe threshold was too low for that, preferred mitchel and Webb look

Comedies are horrible. Big Bang Theory, for example, makes me want to scream. I change the channel immediately if it comes on.

I'm with Sly on Big Bang Theory.

I tried watching it a few times. Dumbest fuckin show I've ever seen.

To be fair I think it may have just finished, but they said that last time and made another series. I know what you mean about the cringe but some of the writing (especially in series 1-4) is absolute genius. Plus Super Hans is one of the greatest comic creations of all time.

Mitchell and Webb look was hit and miss, but when it was good it was very good. Not a patch on Peep Show though.

I thought Scrubs was decent for a season or three, but I can see how that wink wink and quick delivery to the camera bullshit would grate on some people the wrong way.

Big Bang?........well there's no excuse for that wildly popular nonsense to even exist.

I was never a big Scrubs fan but to me it had some value for it's time. At the time, some of the most popular shows in the US were hour long hospital shows (ER, Grey's Anatomy) and Scrubs kind of took the piss out of them while still following a medical storyline and delivering a mixture of dry comedy with lowbrow comedy. For what it was up against here at the time (lame family shows like Everybody Loves Raymond) it definitely held it's own.

The makers of Scrubs went on to make a show called "Cougartown" that had the same type of comedy mixture. I watched reruns of it at work. I hated it at first but it kind of grew on me. I broke it down to a show being about upper middle class wine drinking wiggers.

Worst part about Scrubs was Turk's Puerto Rican gf/fiancée. DAMN she was ugly and super annoying.

I've been watching reruns of Two Broke Girls at work. I actually feel bad for liking that show. Oleg, the cook cracks me up. Usually the first thing that comes into my mind is a sex joke or sex pun but of course, I filter myself and don't say it. he not only says it, he's not always joking.

I watched the first two seasons of Modern Family and likes it and then have caught reruns here and there. It's always entertaining compared to other US sitcoms.

I liked everybody loves raymond. Good family show. Also really liked king of queens. Have caught a couple episodes of kevin can wait nut it is just, "okay." Goldbergs is kind of funny just for the 80's references. It is a total rip-off of wonder years though.
