Yeah, he was hurt and getting hit but he wasn't buckling under the punches and he knew where he was.

Groves wouldn't have been able to keep the attack up and the other guy wasn't even down or trapped on the ropes.

 

Is it me or are Russians a different breed of white guy when it comes to 'toughness'?

 

He had his gloves up and he was looking at groves. Punches were getting in and he was hurt but he didn't look out on his feet.

This stadium being able to host events despite being over 150 years old just shows me that association futbol teams can play in 100+year old privately funded stadiums but most gridiron football teams want a new publicly funded stadium after 20 years of usage

 

My brother and I have argued about Brook for years. I'll say here what I said to him this afternoon - if Brook wins this I'll take back everything I ever said about the big puff.

Can't see Brook winning. But he should definitely provide a stiff test for Spence, I think.

 

I pick Spence, like most people here, but I can see Brook winning. Brook is TOUGH and has decent power. Let's be honest...he gave GGG all he could handle for as long as that fight lasted and he wasn't knocked out or even pummeled, his corner jumped in because they knew of the injury suffered. If that Brook shows up here, Spence is in for a long night because I have to assume that Spence isn't as strong or powerful as GGG.

 

Yeah should have been stopped somewhere in between this and the Gutknecht fiasco...
