Wonder Woman took the top spot at the box office with the lowest drop ever for a superhero film since 2002 Spider-Man. At a 45% drop it beat the record Spidey had at 49%. The DCEU film continued enjoying good word-of-mouth and fans coming back for a second week total of $57.2 million. That puts its domestic total estimates at $205 million in 10 days. The Gal Gadot film has performed better in its second week than all previous DCEU films even if its opening weekend was lower than the others. This means that this film has more legs, staying power than its counterparts. While director Patty Jenkins has expressed she is ready for the sequel, WB has not approached her for that sequel's task. Strange since her film has grossed $435 million worldwide in just 10 days.

Tom Cruise and Universal Pictures The Mummy was dead-on-arrival. The critically bashed film will now relay on overseas numbers to survive as it did not resurrected the Dark Universe numbers with a disappointing $32.2 million. That's two straight misfires in a row as the now non-canon Dracula Untold also misfired badly. But are we forgetting Benicio Del Toro's The Wolf-Man? That's THREE misfires, folks!

Captain Underpants moved to the third spot with $12.3 million. Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales continues sinking with $10.7 million. While domestically it has been a disappointment, the Jack Sparrow sequel has been doing well overseas and currently stands at a worldwide $600 million. Yes, there will be another one, unfortunately, but Disney should lower its budget.

Rounding up the top 5 It Comes at Night debuted with $6 million. A disappointing number, but since it cost only $2.4 million, that wasn't any loss.

Why don't you just wait for the blu-ray? It will cost you almost the same as a movie ticket.

Mummy did a 174 million worldwide opening. That is hardly dead. 141 million foreign. How much did Wonder Woman do foreign this week?

I thought Dracula Untold was alright. Would have watched a sequel.

I am talking about domestic box office first. I also mentioned that 'The Mummy' will relay on its foreign numbers to survive. So it did better internationally and might recoup its investment, but hardly enough as in the most lucrative market, USA, it fell short. But don't expect such big numbers next week as it already opened on every single big international market with China being its most profitable with a bigger opening than here at $52 million. Universal will show a lot of balls if it still green lights another big budget monster movie. I am sure that there will be one of the announced ones next, but am also sure it will be less expensive than this one.

'Wonder Woman' did $58 million in its second week at the foreign market. Worldwide $435 million so far.

It was watchable, but it turned plain ridiculous by giving Dracula almost god-like powers that could squash an entire army with a single blow to later go life-and-death on a single sword fight.

If a Tom Cruise movie doesn't do well numbers wise, you know it must be total shit.

People are quick to blame Tom Cruise but the monsterverse isn't appealing to the masses. They should have expected these returns. Maybe underperformed a little but it was never a 100 million opening movie. I thought 50 mil at best.

Just watched The Mummy it was good. Fuck the critics! 8/10. Solid cast. They should have promoted Russell Crowe more. It would have helped the box office and he was good in his role. The two chicks in this movie are smoking hot.

Mostly in China and other foreign markets. Next week it will make like $16 million in the USA.

Here more Gal Gadot. She earned more respect from me because she broke her back doing her stunts. For most of the tv interviews she remained standing because the pain was too much to try to sit down.
