back when Mosley had just defeated oscar and Trinidad had recently looked to many to have lost to the very same Oscar, many boxing fans would have picked Mosley to beat Tito.

"But there were a few who resisted ...."

In a last ditch alliance, myself and Everlast stood strong in the face of adversity, side by side, and faced off against the dark lord of boxing ignorance.

Trinidad would have beaten Shane like he was his daddy.

    What say you fellas now?

Tito's one of the worst possible matchups for Mosley at 147.

    Yes, Shane gets a beating.

The consensus around that time was that Mosley was too small and there to be hit to beat Trinidad.

Trinidad gets him outta there late.

Mosley's speed would get him an early lead with his fast start, but once Trinidad finds the range with his punches, it would be all downhill for Mosley there.

Mosley can make this close but my suspicion is is that Trinidad would hit him with a hard left hook early which would make him gun-shy and he'll end up dropping a decision

I was a mosley fan at the time but I was a wee bhoy. I'd probably pick trinidad now but not with any certainty - mosley eats up guys who plod at him, he would hit Tito hard and a whole lot

I don't see it as a one-sided fight either way. There will be plenty of opportunities for Mosley to fire combinations through the middle, just as there is for Tito to land that left hook. I go with Trinidad but I don't see this foregone conclusion some people are saying. Would be one hell of a fight.

Not only would Trinidad beat Shane down in a toe to toe war, he'd outbox him in a tactical fight too. He beats Shane any which way he chooses. It would have been a glorious dismantling of a grossly overrated fighter

The question, what would Mosley do when Trinidad hits him? Does he fight back hard or go into a shell?

It's not just Trinidads power. His jab, counter punching and mobility are big problems for Mosley. Tito was almost as rangy and quicker on his feet than Forrest.

By the middle rounds Trinidad would have Mosley 'at arms length' and keep him there.

He's not exactly wrong. Trinidad was more technically sound than Mosley, and Tito had a higher ring IQ.

Mosley's speed gives Tito problems for awhile, but at some point in the fight it becomes all Tito and Shane goes into "good boy" mode to last 12.
