    Fun Scrap Overall...

Horn Definitely Gave a Good Account of Himself, but it was an 'Atta Boy Performance, NOT a Win...A "Participation Trophy" Performance, as Teddy Atlas Alluded To...

He Went the Distance, Didn't Get Killed and Actually Won a Handful of Rounds...

Horn's SIZE and STRENGTH Troubled Pac (He was a LOT Bigger) and Instead of Punching, He Used Forearms, Headlocks and Headbutts on the Inside...Pac COUNTERED Well in Spots, but was More INACCURATE than Normal (& NOT Because of Any Head Movement or Defense on Horn's Behalf)...

Manny's NEVER Reacted Terribly Well to the Sight of his Own Blood, and Tonight was No Exception...Still, he Sucked it Up and Actually Had his BEST Round of the Fight After Cuts were Opened on the Right and Left Sides of his Head...

Manny 10-8'ed Horn for Sure, in the 9th, but he Shot his Load, Basically...

REED Didn't Score the Fight (He Will), but Felt Manny Won Comfortably...To Preserve Horn's "O" and Justify a RE, REED Could've Rationalized a DRAW, but in NO Way, Shape or Form did He Earn the "W" Tonight...

100% bang on the money except for the "participation trophy" thing, Horn fought on the front foot all night even when seeing stars he EARNED that robbery. :D

    Horn's Got NUTS for Sure...

REED's Never Seen him Previously, but Horn Appeared to Be a Bundle of NERVES During the Ringwalk, Anthems and Intro's...

Nonetheless, he Took a Deeeeeep Breath and WENT For It...

"Participation Trophy" Performance in the Sense Horn Got EVERY Single Benefit of the Doubt for Not Being Overwhelmed by Manny or the Moment, as Opposed to Anything he Actually DID...

Even PRIOR to the Verdict Being Announced, Horn EARNED Another Bout or 2 Against World Class Welters...

Horn won at least 4 or 5 rounds and there were a couple rounds where PAC landed cleaner shots but Horn was roughing him up and swarming him. Like.. like...

That's up there on that pointy bit? innit?...I'm in the cold isolated woodlands of central west NSW,.. where proud rural people have strikingly similar values to our Queensland neighbors.
I just tuned in and allowed Paul Upham to re-arrange all my thoughts and opinions,.. they got him on quick smart post-fight to respond to the twitter emergency. :emoji_deer:

Reed please,.. you thought that a sickly pale, squealy voiced, red-headed, goggle eyed, full time school teacher, who had never fought any decent opponents stood no chance...

.....but now he's wearing the diamond belt.

The Danny Green incident, corrupted your judgement, and corrupted judgement is a fine choice of words.

Paul Upham is a smirking douche and the disingenuous pandering that shitheels like him peddle destroyed Aussie boxing. That's how we got shit like Fenech v Nelson 3. I'm almost glad Billy Dibb and Elomar killed the sport here.

Just watched it. I don't think it was a robbery, I thought Manny nicked it but it was close. Horn isn't anything great but he was constantly working and roughing Pacquiao up. He showed some balls in there for sure, plus a weird but effective style. That herky-jerky movement before rushing in with the straight right was giving Manny fits all fight. Good fight, enjoyed that.

Horny Jeff shouldn't get too confident. He is going to get destroyed in his next fight against any top 147 pounder.
Pac was slower than I had ever seen and had zero power.

Dude goes from being told that the fight is about to be stopped to winning a clear decision. WTF??

    No Doubt...

He Loses to ANY World Class, Top 10 Welter he Faces...

Thurman, Spence, Porter, Garcia, Crawford, etc...They All Beat Him w/Little Fuss...Horn was Smart to Name Drop Floyd, as That's the "Money" Fight, but it'll Never Happen...

    THIS.

Which begs the question: why do Boxing fans have a hard time with other ´farces´ within the sport (and we all know what Im talking about) when this still goes on and always has done?

WOW, if Pacquiao did indeed stop Horn in the 9th, it would have been the first come from behind KO victory in his legendary career since Sasakul

Apparently punchstats show pacquiao landing twice as many punches a Horn.

    Yep...

Horn Landed 15-16% of his Shots, Whereas Pac was Well into the 30% Range for Connects...Pac Landed More, @ a Higher %, and They were Considerably More TELLING...

Horn MUSCLED Pac Around Very Effectively, but Knocking a Guy Off Stride w/Your Shoulders and Forearms AREN'T Scoring Blows...@ Least They're Not Supposed to Be...

Horn came out at the start of most rounds, pushed Manny to the ropes, mauled him and usually landed an eye catching punch or two as he did it. I'm sure that helped him with the judges. He walked through most of pacs shots and immediately let his hands go. I'm sure that helped him too.

PAC landed a lot of those in his best rounds and when a guy is getting pushed around like that his opponents punches look more effective.

So your argument is the judges were not corrupt - just incompetent?

I thought it was a close fight that could've gone either way. Only the one judge was a problem. I don't have any problem with Horn winning 7-5. He legitimately won 4 or 5 rounds and like I said, there were other close rounds where Manny landed the cleaner shots but Horn walked through them, kept punching, roughed Manny up and landed some clean shots of his own.

w/the Exception of 1 Right Hand, Manny Wasn't "Pushed Around" by Any of Horn's Punches...

Pushing a Guy Backwards via Shoulders/Forearms Aren't Scoring Blows...

REED Thinks the Judges were Caught Up in Pacquiao's BLOOD, but Those were Caused by Butts...That Same Benefit Obviously WASN'T Given to Pac, in Regards to Horn's Face...
