With his hyper retarded style, Khan takes a quick lead with his jab and right hands down the middle (usually followed by Khan falling onto Gatti, as he often did throwing a 1-2). Gatti's face swells up and he is cut, but he is able to land some body shots, and several others that stray below the belt. Eventually in the 6th, Gatti lands a left hook that has Amir doing his Bambi dance. Gatti then finishes Khan shortly thereafter.
Gatti would win a come from behind KO. Khan's chin is crap. Absolute crap. And Gatti's lack of defense will just prove irresistible for Khan to fight smart and this he'd give Gatti all the chances he needs to end him. Would last about 7 rounds.
So, yall are gonna tell me that Gatti is a more dangerous puncher than Maidana? This is the only time you'll ever find me taking Khan in a MM. I think he outboxes that Candian manic depressive alchy punching bag.
Negative. Khan would fuck Gatti up. Gatti may last the distance but that's about it. As crap as Khan's chin was...don't forget that he beat Maidana.
Gatti was crap but so was Khan. Anybody with that bad of a chin is not a man I would lay money on, even if it was against Gatti. If nothing else, Gatti had a left hook, and Khan is wide open for it. And it's not like Khan would have the ring IQ to stay away from it, or keep his right hand up. I see him walking into it over and over again. I think eventually, he'd walk into one too many.
Nobody said that. The comparison that X used was that Gatti wasn't more DANGEROUS puncher than Maidana, which is correct. Garcia didn't hit as hard as Maidana, but his timing and accuracy made him more dangerous. Gatti wasn't as dangerous as either of them, he lacked the speed and footwork of Garcia and the pure power of Maidana's
Mismatch is going too far. With Khan's chin, he's not a sure bet over ANYBODY with decent pop. But he's definitely the more likely winner.
