I just pulled up Jose Aldo's purse for UFC 156 against Frankie Edgar. He got 120k flat and a 120k win bonus

Roughly around 230-300 depending on the fight agreement. That doesnt include extra bonuses or PPV points. Aldo was also never a draw is notorious for never promoting fights.

How much did Overeem make in his last?

Overeem made 800K against Werdum with no bonuses. Overeem made more than Stipe Miocic too in their title fight. Stipe complained and is pissed right now and looking at renegotiations of his contract.

And that is it. These guys need to renegotiate their contracts. And that is happening. Overeem made a great deal when he signed with the UFC. The purses are getting bigger. Cormier made 1mil without PPV bonuses, and he probably gets around 3 or 4 dollars per PPV buy.

But also take into account that Overeem also had a good manager and he's a big star in the Netherlands plus he's had about 60 MMA fights and that's not even including his Kickboxing record and how huge and famous he is in Japan. Overeem's been fighting pro since 1997.
And also factor in that although purses are bigger, the Reebok deal also took a lot of money out of the pockets of fighters.

Dana White will decide that and he doesn't want "Condom Depot" ads inside the octagon. He wants a legitimate brand to help his organization look more professional.

I'd go Negan on your Polack ass and emasculate you. You would call yourself "Hanz" too like a subservient little Polack b*tch.

I'm legitimately unsure how this fight pans out so I visit FightBeat to find out what the experts are saying. And you guys are all over the place.

Anthony is picking McGregor so I guess that's how I'll bet.

It's a good strategy to follow Anthony, he's got all base covered. If Mayweather wins, he called it, and if McGregor wins he called it too. Best prediction ever!

Yeah but if mcgregor win, I won't be sitting here saying " I told you so, I knew it, blah blah blah". I will be just as shocked as everyone else. My prediction gives me zero gloating power.

BTW, if Mcgregor wins, I think we're going to see a lot of cross over fights made, that might be the only good thing that comes out of that humiliation for boxing.

McGregor to win and if he fails, I disappear from the Forum for good.

    Legit bet.

Ferguson's been in the UFC since 2011. He's 12-1 in the UFC and he's still on that 50k/50k sh*t contract. In 2015 he was on 24k/24k.

You Keep TRICKLING DOWN Your Argument...

The POINT Is, Floyd/Canelo/Pac Level Boxers Make MORE than MMAists of Equal Standing within that Sport...And when You Speak of Boxers on that Lower Tier, Like Thurman, Garcia, Brook, Crawford, etc., they Make MORE than Guys on a Similar Tier within MMA...

And When You Speak of OPPONENTS of Those Aforementioned Lower Tier Boxing Stars, they Make MORE than Guys on a Similar Level within MMA...

You can find random fighters in MMA that make top money that aren't even champs. Thurman and Garcia pocketed 2 mil for their fight. For both it was three highest payday. Someone like Chael sonnen would clear more than that for his fights. Overeem back in UFC 141 made about 2 mil for the fight with 2 dollars per ppv buy. Something guys like Thurman and Garcia don't get. And that was a while back. Guys are getting more than that now.
