PBF by dec, wide. Just another class of fighter, and crawford doesn't have the style to bother him

Floyd at 140 was pretty much the perfect fighter

Yeah, Craw at 140 would be the best opponent of Floyd's career.

Gotta agree. Mainly because he is in his prime and ideal weight. Unlike many of Floyds opponents.

Crawford is a helluva fighter. He'd easily be one of mayweather jrs toughest foes at 35 or 40. Mayweather jr is quicker but hasn't had to dig down and maybe neither has Crawford so it's hard to gauge

TC would be Floyd's best opponent, but to answer my own thread question, much to Sly's delight, I'd pick Floyd, and not all that close either.

I think a good amount of welters would whup Floyd, but I do think extremely highly of him at 140. The list of junior welters I'd pick over him are minimal.

TC would definitely be competitive, but I see Floyd a step ahead all night. Ultimately, Floyd's big edge in handspeed would be difficult for Crawford to overcome. And while Crawford has a VERY high boxing IQ and is used to outhinking guys, he's not outhinking Floyd.

At this stage I pick Floyd, the guy is a proven ATG, but I really rate Crawford, I think we'll have a clearer picture in a few years.
