I think Kov won the first Ward fight, but I could SEE the case made for Ward, even if I didn't agree with it.

I don't see the case tonight. Canelo landed flashy shots, but overall he was outboxed, out thought, and out fought.

GGG did great for being 35 btw. I was really impressed with his stamina.

I didn't see him outlanding canelo in almost every round. Canelo had his head snapping back with clean shots. Canelo wasn't running, he was boxing. At times he was standing there and fighting with GGG and getting the better of it. You can't just give a guy rounds for coming forward and missing all night.

You're saying this was a bigger "robbery" than Ward-Kov I?

Interesting. I'm curious how other guys feel. In that one, guys hated the decision and had nothing but negative shit to say about Ward afterward. So much so that it carried over after Ward stopped Kov.

I can't see Canelo getting anywhere near the same level of vitrol spouted his way after tonight's fight.

Would anybody be sad if Oscar got really drunk tonight and went out like Sal Sanchez? I for one would chuckle.

He only snapped GGGs head back a handful of times. The rest of the time GGG was walking him down

I didn't score it but G came forward but missed A LOT . Canelo landed a lot of clean shots. It was very close. Canelo definitely landed more eye catching punches. By far.

    Yes, that's what I'm saying.

All three judges had it 114-113 Ward.

Byrd had Alvarez winning TEN...... GODDAMN.... ROUNDS.

This was very much a robbery.

But Muzse, if it makes you happy, no, Golov is not an all time great.

He loses to Hagler, Monzon, Robinson, Jones, Hopkins, and that's just to name a few.

At the end of the day, I don't hate Canelo.

But that fucking cross dressing, coke head, alchy, statuatory rapist on the other hand...

GGG clearly won the fight. For the second half of the fight Canelo was just coming out strong for the first 30 seconds of the round and then getting out boxed for the remainder.

As soon as it was clear that there wasn't going to be a knock out I knew there was going to be some fucked up scoring. Canelo has more out of whack scoring than any fighter in recent memory. It's total bullshit.

Agreed. Canelo landed the vast majority of clean shots in the fight. GGG was just coming forward and hitting fresh air constantly. Canelo banked the first 3 rounds pretty clearly for a start. The GGG fanatics give him none/one of the remaining 9 rounds

You were wrong about Canelo just admit it. Nobody won so our sig bet is void but just admit that you were wrong with your bullshit. You acted like it was going to be a blowout and it was faaaar from that. It was competitive as I said it would be. Also you have to admit now that Canelo has a great chin

Canelo landed the better shots to both head and body all night long. GGG was just busier

Ggg was definitely conscious of canelo's uppercuts. He held his arm in the middle of his chest. This may be one reason he ignored the body. According to compubox, he only landed 8 bodyshots. Funny thing is when hbo showed compubox stats the head plus body counts did not add up to the total they showed. My guess is compubox is every bit as corrupt as judges and everything else in boxing

Can we all agree that both guys would have beaten the brakes off McGregor?
