I like both, but Godzilla was a better movie. Pacific Rim is good, but essentially for kids.

Plus "Pacific Rim" had Jax from "Sons Of Anarchy" in it. Habitually the worst thing about anything he's in.

I never saw Godzilla but I hated Pacific Rim. Can't believe the hype it got. Good premise for sure but Charlie fucking Hunnam? Guy is awful.

I thought both were okay but you couldn’t pay me to sit through either one again. There is also no fucking way I’d watch either of their sequels or another film from this type of giant genre again. Jeez I’ve gotten old.

Yeah but you've always liked to watch that Kramer vs Kramer style stuff. It's not age mate.

I think it is age homie. I used to like stuff like Godzilla and The Hobbit and I totally skipped all The Hobbit films. On top of that I skipped the last Star Trek movie and I don’t think I even want to see the final Planet Of The Apes movie. It’s like I’m turning into my old man who used to think all those movies were trash lol.

I am the opposite: while I always loved scifi films, I also watched all those critic darling's dramas to expand my film knowledge and I kind of like them too. Not anymore. Now, at age 58, I have a hard time persuading myself why should I bother to watch another drama when there is a cool scifi movie waiting to be discovered!

I've never watched Pacific Rim. Never been even the slightest bit curious.

Not any more fantastical then a giant commuter bus that can navigate the Los Angeles Interstate system without dropping below 50 MPH.
