For those of you who arent mayhem fans, check the dude out, he's fucking hillarious, and a great fighter.

 

I saw him against GSP. He was funny. Remember when Miller was down on his back and then did a flip up and got kicked in the head by GSP back down to the canvas?:jester: I'd like to see more of this guy.

 

GSP owned him, but Mayhem is the shit.....its no big disgrace to lose to GSP....Mayhem is a trip.....He gave the "shocker" hang sign right before he armbarred some cat in Hawaii

Did you watch TUF last night on Spike? Ross Pointon tapped out to Kendall. That Pointon goof is such an ignorant fuck. Guy thinks 1 punch is all it takes to be a top fighter. Funny how they talk so much shit like they believe there's no possibility in the world whatsoever that they can lose and the next minute they're crying and begging for the ref to stop it. Some people need to get their egos in check.
Kendall's a 6'6 middleweight. Looks like a good fighter based on his grappling and sub skills shown against Pointon but also looks like he hasn't eaten in 10 years. Dude could pack on at least 40lbs and be fighting at heavyweight. Skinny as fuck!

 

Hey hooks, are you still training like hell in the gym or have you given it up?

 

I still workout......I've been running 3 miles a day as often as possible (usually 4 or 5 times a week) and lifting 4 times a week.....I've given up on getting any bigger.....I'm at 212 right now, and its not nearly all "GOOD" weight. On the bench I've been doing mostly inclines and incline flyes....Reps of 225 of the flat bench follow that, followed by pushups till i fall on my face.....

back days are HEAVY rows, pullups, chin ups, and then seated cable rows....

shoulders, always changing, alot of compound shit....lot of clean and presses....light weight behind the neck presses....heavier in front.....TONS of isolation movements.....My shoulder workouts take forever... I put extra work into them because they lag a bit....

legs.....again, lots of compound shit.....some deadlifts.....wide based squats, followed by narrow based squats......lunges....side lunges.....heavy calf raises.....Then i puke

arms, all the basic shit....My recent fave has been weighted bench dips for tris


Really wanting to lose some weight though....

not really....if i had any real willpower, I'd weigh about 190, and have much stronger legs.....I need a good training partner....The guy I work out with now is naturally very strong and built, and takes full advantage of it.....When he opts on for the easy path, i usually join him, when I should push myself farther....

 

Has anyone ever seen Mayhem vs Sean Taylor (i think thats his name) that is one of the most dominant displays of the ground game I've ever seen and Taylor NEVER taps.....Mayhem nearly had to kill him to win

The big guy is just big and probably not much else. He just seems like some big bouncer who gave MMA a try and so far he hasn't won shit. Skills will take this big oaf down, no doubt. Miller will tear him up easily.

 

I'm with you....they're arguably the two best young fighters in the world.....Hughes may still beat GSP next time out, but give Hughes his due, he is one of the best ever....

Yeah, Bisping beat Kristian.....ugly scrap....Kristian had nothing and Bisping looked like he was a little too geeked up.....If Bisping can settle down, he could be one of the top guys on the show....Word is he's a pretty bad dude....
