Superman Returns was so boring that I barely remember it.

I'm nooooooooo fan of Man of Steel, just saying..... there's been far worse movies. But it certainly wasn't great or memorable.

To this day, the best movie in the Superman franchise remains Superman II (with Terrence Stamp as Zod).

    Right?
For 30 mins they pulverise each other and Metropolis before Superman breaks Zod's neck.

    LAME.

    The Batman movie was embarrassing.

    Deal with it.

It's probably the best Batman movie ever made.

After the seminal, quintessential Batman from 1966, of course.

i've always deeply resented the existence of the movie Meet Joe Black. big studio movie, 3 hours long, & it's basically got the emotional depth of a clothing catalogue. they could literally have just shown pictures of people modelling clothing for 3 hours & it would have had the same emotional depth.

I don't know what you're on about. I watched it and found it funny as fuck. I mean it probably took me 6 sittings to get through the whole thing, but funny.....................as......................fuck.

Or was that not what they were going for?

Might be because I thought the first one was so good, but man, was Zoolander 2 bad. Probably not the worst I've seen but it comes to mind.

Yeah, 2nd one was pretty bad. Worse, it was forgettable. I know I saw it, but I can't remember a goddamn thing about it.

that's it. if they had billed the movie as an intentional parody, or paul verhoeven was listed as the director, then the movie would instead be a very funny, very wry comedy

I didn’t have one that merited mentioning as I usually walk out on the worst ones. That is until just this minute the missus made me sit through some movie she recorded. It was called Basket Case and was a terrible terrible horror film in every way imaginable.

Your wife made you watch Basketcase??
    How odd.

I remember watching it on VHS back in the 80s when it came under the 'video nasty' tag!

Well I’m using the term made loosely here. Either way I never would have watched it on my own and at a couple points I asked if she wanted to abort.
