Palomino would be too 70s for that new timer! But seriously, Carlos was tough as nails, but he didn't have Spence's overall skillset... I mean, Spence is no Whitaker, but he's definitely more defensively responsible than Palomino. I'd have to make Spence the favorite based on what we've seen so far, but it would be interesting to see how Spence holds up to Palomino's own body attack over the course of the full fight. Palomimo beats Thurman.
Spence via UD. Competitive fight, but Spence is just more dynamic than Palomino who in his own right, was an excellent fighter. Spence is quicker on the trigger, and can mix his ability to stay on the back foot and counter from outside, along with his ability to pressure his opponent. Great fight.
