I'll be more enthused if the Eagles kill the patriots and Brady is attacked by actual eagles

Would Be HILARIOUS if Brady's Knocked Out of the Game and the Pats Ultimately LOSE the Super Bowl Because He Forced the Trade of Belichick's PREFERRED Back-Up...

REED has NO Looooooove for Philly...Their Fans are THE Absolute Worst, Literally, and they're in the NFC East...

But Like You, REED Will Actually Be Rooting for them Sunday...

How bout all those years when the NFC Championship was the real determiner of who the best team was instead of the Super Bowl

Personally, Ah’m looking forward tae the game - put a few, wee bets on Philly and have the Buds in the William Perry (fridge), nachos, cheese and jalapeños at the ready. A bit o’ popcorn tae throw at the telly when Timberlake comes on and Ah’m fucking set... whit aboot yeez, Bufties?

That the Super Bowl was more of an afterthought back then when NFC teams like 49ers/Cowboys kept winning the titles which leaves me less enthused as opposed to now

    disagREED...

While the NFC Went on QUITE a Run, This was the PRE Free Agency Era...

Back Then, Playoff Teams were Fucking STACKED...The 2nd Strings of Those Squads Would Probably Be Playoff Teams Today...And That Made for a HIGHER Quality of Play than What's Currently Constructed...

Philly, Sans Starting QB, Starting LT and Best LB, Have NOfuckingBUSINESS in the Super Bowl (In the Free Agency Era), Yet Here they Stand...

REED Can Admit to Not Being Terribly Enthused for the Niners-Chargers Super Bowl, but the Niners were Sooooooooooooooo EFFICIENT, They Made Blowouts ENTERTAINING...And the Buffalo Bills were Sooooooooooooooooo TALENTED Back Then, You Could NEVER Count Them Out of a Super Bowl, Despite Losing 4 in a Row...

PARITY is Better for Overall Fan Interest and the GROWTH of the NFL, but the Quality of Play has Dipped for Sure, to the BENEFIT of the New England Patriots...

They can re-sign Foles for cheap and trade Wentz, who will soon make Stephen Curry money.

A bizarre out there trade Philly could make is Wentz to Minnesota for a bunch of picks

I predicted brandon graham would be mvp. he wasn't as big a factor, nor was the eagles pass rush overall, as I anticipated

But 55 made the game changing play

I love that Brady had the game losing fumble and lost to a backup

    Great night for football

    Indeed...

REED’s Favorite Part Was When the Patriots Got CUTE, Attempting the Pass to Brady, Which he COULDNT Quite Corral...

Then Philly Throws a TD Pass to Foles! You Could Almost SENSE Philly Saying “Oh, You Wanna Get CUTE? Okay, Take THIS!”

Great Night of Football For Sure...

Can Reed or TFK make a new NFL thread when the discussion starts to ramp up about the upcoming season?

thanks. I fucked up with the NBA one and now it's like two years combined. And if it gets too big, it might mess up like that one time.

If he can get healthy, Carson Wentz isn't going anywhere. He's still Philly's QB of the future. It looks like they still have Foles under contract for one more year, so the Eagles could still hold on to them if they want for insurance purposes, unless they want to get a big haul for him on the trade market.
