I still can't grasp what it is the enduring appeal of this franchise based on an early 90's forgettable film. This new entry seems channels more Indiana Jones than its scifi roots.
I agree completely. I saw the original film in the theater and although I found it okay, I never had an interest in watching it again. I believe it wound up gaining a cult fan base though. That has to be the only reason the constant creation of new series’ and films keeps happening. I for one will never watch anything they put out again, including (you guessed it) this trailer.
I watched the series. It was ok. Nothing offensive like the ending to Sons of Anarchy or Battlestar Galactica
The first season was great tv. The second was ok and then it became shit. Around about the time the writers admitted to writing on the fly. Shit our show is getting boring. Errr ahhh ok (insert random character) is a Cylon! Who cares if it makes no sense. No to mention the absolute misunderstanding of mitochondrial Eve.
I never watched Lost. BSG had a satisfying ending? You're insane. It was one of the shittest endings in tv history.
No. I won't spoil it here but the 'agreement ' everyone comes to at the end is the most illogical and unrealistic conclusion ever.
You honestly think everyone would agree to it? To go from one way of life to the basest form imaginable? Take a look at the politics forum here to see how likely it would be to get a consensus on that.
