Bump for lazy Most Turd. BTW this film has polarized critics and audiences: critics are praising it, audiences not so much giving it a C in Cinemascore.
I believe the critics. Casual movie fans, like casual boxing fans, know fuck all about what makes a quality movie.
Same can be said of critics who can be overly praising of serious drama style films while killing films like Black Panther because it isn’t realistic.
I didn't see it yet, but it doesn't strike me as similar. I could be wrong though. Arrival is similar to Close Encounters and Contact.
Black Panther got great reviews from critics. Well critics praised too much 'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' which now ranks as the highest rated film in the entire saga, but to the majority of fans is the WORST one of them all! I even enjoyed the prequels, but hated that film.
"Race message"? WTF you are talking about? The whole thing was a PC SJW bullcrap mess. It was like Rian Johnson was doing a checkmark on everything that will piss SW fans. On that regard, he succeeded beyond his wildest dreams...and now Kathleen Kennedy is as hated as George Lucas was a few years ago.
