Am I the only one looking forward to this one on Saturday? Mikey is rightfully the big favorite, but Lipinets does have pop... a lot more than Broner. So if he lands flush, it'll be interesting to see how Mikey's chin handles it. Having said that, Lipinets was hurt by Lenny Z and by the Japanese he fought in the fall. His defense seems too leaky to win this. I think Mikey stops him late.
I wanna see a competitive fight. Hopefully Limpnuts is the type of guy who rises to the level of opposition. We know at this point that a Rusky can't be counted out. But I accept the fact that there's a possibility that Mikey could dominate this fight one sidedly. If you're getting tagged and stunned by Lenny Z, it doesn't bode well against Mikey.
I have a feeling that Lip might give Mikey the toughest test of his career. But in doing so, I think Mikey will shine and stop him brutally
I like Mikey via TKO here mid to late rounds. I just think he has too much on Lipinets. Maybe early on it'll be competitive but the difference in class will tell sooner eater than later.
On the flip side, Ray Leonard posted a workout video on Instagram today. He's in better shape than most 25 yr olds.
