Read a bit about it. Seems like the sun reported a 1989 soccer riot that caused 96 deads, controversially, mainly by blaming the fans for acting like baboons. And since then, the newspaper is hated in liverpool
It wasn't a riot at all, the police fucked up and let fans in to a stand when it was already full and 96 people were crushed to death. The Sun then reported that fans were pickpocketing the dead and urinating on police and injured fans which was absolute bollocks. There was then a massive cover-up by the police and government to prevent the truth coming out and the families only got justice last year. It's an incredibly sensitive issue in Liverpool and The Sun does not get sold there any more. The comments aren't insignificant at all but again, I don't think he meant it in that way, he's just ignorant.

Yeah in regards to Davies the boxer, he does have a dig on him but Taylor is just so much better technically it's ridiculous. Taylor is one of those under-the-radar talents, some big-name shithead like Broner is going to pick him as an opponent one day and get their head punched in because they haven't done their research. That fucker can fight.

There's over 10 guys at 140 alone who would beat Broner. The guy is sideshow at this point, and will be irrelevant after next month when Jesse beats him.
There's 7 junior welterweights that fought this weekend alone who beat Broner - Mikey (already did), Prograis, Indongo (yes, I'd pick Indongo over Broner), Baranchyk, Relikh, Lipinets, and Barthelemy.
I hafta agree, BigDongo is a superscrub. I've never rated Broner, he's always been absurdly overrated (even his "talent"), but there is no doubt in my mind he beats BigDongo, and quite easily too.
I don't even think Broner even believes his own bullshit anymore. He's gotta know that he's nothing more than a circus act at this point. He's lucky Mikey isn't that big a puncher above 135. And I still have a feeling that Vargas will KO him.
I started off liking Davies but he doesn't do himself any favours with the shite he comes out with. He's not a very talented boxer either. I kinda still find him funny but obviously not with certain comments that he's made.
140 is too deep for Davies to do much. He would lose to Prograis, Lipinets, Ramirez, Reliykh, and probably Hooker.
