Annihilation See, this is why before I ever post a new movie thread, I do a search first to make sure I’m not duplicating.
Fucking fuck. You started that thread almost 6 months ago!!!! What happened to this fucking movie????
Nothing happened. I just got the jump on the trailer early, posted it here and...crickets. No comments, no likes, no nothing. I’m not even sure if anyone watched the trailer and your thread doesn’t appear to be doing much better.
Man you guys need to work on your movie reviews. Tell us why it was awesome or why it sucked and RM I can give you a little credit because you at least gave us a score and a recommendation.
None of them can because: a) there basically stupid b) don't know fuck-all about movies c) are trolls
I am just really shit in movie reviews. There is somekind of shimmering that is getting larger and larger. Some people move in to never return. Than 4 women move in to investigate. They are going to investigate if it is alien or not. If it is hostile or not. What the intentions are. There is all kind of weird stuff going on after they move in. I am not going to tell more because I would be spoiling stuff. You can watch the movie on netflix.
Watched last night. Looked fantastic, good storyline (albeit with loads of holes), average acting, good pacing through but ultimately a bit disjointed and difficult to comprehend at times. Borrowed 'elements' from 2001, Alien, The Thing, Solaris and a bunch of othets but ended up a mixed-bag. Didn't think the all-female cast was particularly strong either... 'Watchable'. 6.5/10
Nope. I just missed the y'r and mcfucktardogg did that really annoying thing that nerds do on the Internet: grammar-correction of typos'. Luckily for him, because this is the Internet, Im unable to perform the obvious punishment and drop him unconscious into a cesspit.
Finally watched this last night. Disappointed as Hell. Was hoping it would compare in quality to Ex Machina, but it doesn't hold a fuckin candle to it. Started off pretty strong - the first 45 mins were good. Then it fell on its ass and became too convoluted and boring. Who knows? Maybe I'll rewatch it again in 5-6 years, and have a higher opinion of it, or maybe I'll never rewatch it again. 5.5/10
Yeah I’m skipping it. Netflix doesn’t give a shit about quality either. They know that because people have these movies available whenever they want that they’ll sit and watch anything. Netflix basically said as much when they bought that last Cloverfield movie. I think I’m going to cancel my Netflix subscription. I pretty much never use it and I can watch all the same stuff on my Kodi box for free anyway.
Netflix has indeed gone to shit. We'll definitely live to see the day when they fall and become obsolete. Which I won't mind, because their CEO, Reed Hastings, seems like a total dipshit.
