I might overrate his talent, cause that was the first time I saw him. I know he had a few dud performance before that one, but I was expecting big things for him.
I have to agree with you all about the DeMarco fight, I was actually going to mention that in my post but forgot. That's the one fight in his entire career where he did look really good actually, and actually somewhat lived up to the silly levels of hype and immense "talent" bestowed upon him. He did lose to Ponce, and fought on even terms with Paulie fucking Maginaggi.
Maidana, Porter and Garcia are all good fighter's so nothing to be ashamed about losing to them. It was just a case of thinking Broner could have done more in all of those fights that was disappointing imo.
