Body Heat remains timeless while The Last Seduction hasn't. Besides Linda Fiorentino's sex appeal I can't even remember that film's plot. Body Heat was brilliant with a great twist ending.
The Last Seduction is fucking awesome. I re-watched it about 4 months ago... it remains one of the most underrated noir classics.
It’s been awhile since I’ve seen them, I think I liked The Last Seduction more. Isn’t that with Irish Terry Conklin?
I actually think it's the other way around. Body Heat is basically Double Indemnity updated for the '80s. It was a very good, stylish movie, but not particularly unique or original IMO. Not only does Last Seduction feature a killer performance from Fiorentino, but it also broke new ground by showing events from the perspective of the evil femme fatale rather than her victims. Aside from that, it had a very enjoyable, darkly humorous tone IMO.
