If it's true about Oscar being coked up, it's funny because I remember reading a Ring (or KO) magazine interview from around '98 where he was very disrespectful about JC Chavez. Saying he didn't want to end up on drugs like Chavez. I guess that wish didn't hold up. Plus I don't remember seeing JC Chavez posing in women's stockings and garter belts in seedy hotel rooms.
Yeah Oscar has long had alcohol and coke issues, along with being a gigantic weirdo creep. Oscar was respectful to Chavez at first though leading up to their fight as Chavez was such a beloved fighter. JCC was an asshole to Oscar though so from what I’ve heard, so Oscar was being an asshole back
