Never before or since has a TV show been turned into a masterpiece movie. THE best action thriller of the 90s.
The Fugitive is a superior film to all of those. Not ONE GODDAMN performance in any of those movies stack up to TLJ performance in Fugitive.
Sean Connery won a fucking Academy Award for playing Malone in The Untouchables. He was better than TLJ who basically plays the same character in every film. Connery shits on TLJ. Malone to Elliot Ness: "You wanna know how to get Capone? They pull a knife, you pull a gun. He sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue. *That’s* the *Chicago* way! And that’s how you get Capone. Now do you want to do that?"
I’m not particularly fond of this movie and never got what all the fuss was about. I thought it straddled the line too much between being a drama and an action flick and it’s failure to fully deliver on either count is why I don’t care for it.
