I know we have threads like this from time to time so I figured why not now.

Some sweet matchups to be made right now, even though boxing sucks and is on the decline and filled with palookas:

    Joshua-Wilder
    Joshua-Fury
    Fury_Wilder
    Thurman-Spence
    Thurman-Crawford
    Crawford-Spence
    Lomachenko-Garcia
    Lomachenko-Crawford
    GGG-Canelo
    I'm sure I've missed a couple.

    What's your top 3?

Fury-Joshua or Fury-Wilder are big in the UK but wouldn’t be that big in the US at all unless Fury had already beaten Joshua.

is this supposed to ask what are the biggest financially?

cuz Joshua is not a big star here, at all. Him and furry is a big fight in the UK but not here AT ALL.

Hurd vs Lara had more viewers than Joshua vs Parker on showtime.

I haven't given a Top 3 list as yet but I decided to list some possible matchups as examples for people to choose from. I often do that. Perhaps I wasn't clear enough for you.

Exactly the 3 fights I want to see. I'd also add Stevenson-Kovalev has a fourth one.

    Lomachenko-Garcia
    Spence-Thurman
    AJ-Wilder

And with the collapse of GGG-Canelo, I think the sport needs these fights to happen.

That's definitely the best matchup to make at 168.

At 175, I'd like to see Bivol-Beterbiev, but it won't happen.

No one wants to see McGregor fail again and Floyd’s shot as a boxer.

McGregor won’t fail this time because it won’t be a boxing match.

AJ-Wilder #1. It's the heavyweight division after all and even though this isn't a great era for heavyweight boxing, it's the best it's been for quite some time and this has the makings to be an explosive matchup.

Just not sure if I can put GGG-Canelo 2 in the top 3. 1) it's already happened and we all know that GGG really deserved the decision the first time round and 2) despite it being a big money fight, the gloss has somewhat been taken off of it with the allegations towards Canelo.

In at 2 I'm going with Loma-Garcia. Rated by most as P4P #1 and the greatest natural talent we've seen since Roy Jones Jr. Garcia is the perfect test for him after Linares. Linares is a decent test but not on the same scale as Garcia. Loma's stock really would rise a great deal with a win over Garcia.

In at 3...Spence-Crawford. I would have gone Thurman-Spence, but the majority of us feel that Spence beats Thurman pretty handily and the natural next step for Spence would be to fight Crawford, so that makes it the bigger fight. Quite a few of us are split on Spence-Crawford too and it would be a matchup between two young, hungry, talented fighters who are rated highly.

Yes. Floyd-Mcgregor 2 would fail as a ppv. How are they goin to market it? “One guy is even older now. It might be competitive!”
