    "Blade Runner" the prettier looking movie and a technical accomplishment...................but like Kubrick's "2001", it's a mess of an actual film.

    That's one movie that could have had about 30 minutes of fat trimmed out of it. Either that or 30 minutes less of Harrison Ford and Sean Young, and 30 minutes more of Rutger Hauer and his crew.

    "Alien" is the better overall film.

    Alien or the concept of it, always fascinated me: the whole reproduction process of the alien is bizarre.
    Although I don"t much care for the 'action' sequels.

    Blade Runner is visually great and especially for it's time.

    When it rains here in São Paulo (and we get biblicalesque rainstorms at night) it totally resembles and reminds me of the similar street scenes in Blade Runner.
