Duran fans blame the loss in second fight to him having partied too much and put on weight between fights and eating bad shellfish etc. Leonard fans blame the loss in the first fight on him fighting the wrong fight after underestimating Duran. Duran fans say Duran was a better fighter in the first fight than he was in the second fight and Leonard fans say the same of their fighter. So....who wins if the Duran of Montreal faced the Leonard of New Orleans. Let’s assume for argument sake that in Duran’s mind this is the first time he’s facing leonard and is highly motivated to dethrone the pretty boy media darling and in Leonard’s mind this is the rematch and he’s itching for revenge. In other words both fighters have the same motivations and tactical approaches that they had in the fights they won. Who wins?
Another great, close bout just like Montreal Could go either way really You might get different wrinkles, patches of action with defining patterns if you had the fight occur 50 times but it's almost always going to be a close fight every time
