Honestly Spence was looking unsettled and out of sorts before he suddenly took over and Brook started to look done. To describe it as Spence being in cruise control does not tell the story of the fight at all. It was a tough fight for Spence, he was getting outboxed and tagged before Brook ran out of steam a bit, and Spence showed his "true grit" and stamina and completely took over and dished out a beating. And that's coming from someone who absolutely agrees with MTF that Brook is one of the most overrated fighters of the modern era (I thought it was fucking absurd that people had him pegged as the #1 welter at any point, just absurd). I thought Spence would beat him far more easily than he did, honestly before Spence suddenly turned things around, Brook looked to be on his way to winning in my eyes, and it seemed like Spence was kind of being exposed, or maybe the jump in class was too soon.
REED Doesn't Think it's a Stretch @ All to Say Kell Brook was THE Best Welter in the World, Pre-Spence... Compare/Contrast his Win Over Porter to Keith Thurman's...Brook was a Big, Strong, Reasonably SKILLED Welter....REED Would've Favored Him Over Thurman or Garcia as Well... Spence Had to EARN his W Over Brook.... REED
Put it this way, people were saying Brook was the best welter in the world when Manny and Floyd were still active and still good. That is absurd.
Brook had to basically wald pussy his way to a close decision over Shawn "Caveman" Porter ... I never rated the motherfucker
Now THAT's Absurd... But in the Span from Floyd-Berto to Spence-Brook, REED Would Say Kell was the Best Welter in the World... REED
Brook was Putting HANDS on Porter, Bruh...And To the Degree There was Holding, Porter INITIATED as Much, if Not More... Brook Beat Porter COMFORTABLY, Something No One Else in the World Can Say...8-4, if Not 9-3... REED
No way in hell is that true ... Brook reached out and grabbed the guy the whole fucking fight ... it was blatant ... I had this same argument with X during the bout It's not illegal to go right at a guy throwing punches ... that's what Porter was doing, trying to get close by moving forward and then throwing his retarded bullshit punches... a good way to curtail that legally is to punch the guy in the fucking head but Brook didn't, he repeatedly reached out grabbed him and pushed down until the idiot ref broke them ... Porter has to be up in the grill of his opponents because he's 4'7 so he tends to rush towards them because he's not good enough at boxing to do a Dwight Qawi or Joe Frazier or Carmen Basilio and bob and weave... the opponent grabs him, he grabs them back instinctively and you guys say he's "initiating" the clinch but he wasn't against Brook... Brook just grabbed him whenever he got close Both of them looked fucking horrible and Brook deserved to lose points
You and REED Will Have to Agree to DISagree... REED Heard Sentiments Such as This About the Fight and was Taken Aback When he Actually Saw Brook-Porter for Himself... That's NOT the Fight REED Saw... REED
Say a lie a thousand times and some will think its the true. Ive shown numerous facts that proves that brook win is viewed as contentious for most. It really shows a lot about yourself that you continue to spew that bs
Thurman definitely landed more meaningful, hurtful shots against Porter compared to Brook against Porter.
How many times do i have to post the compilations of the media and fans scorecards. Lol, you even commented on the posts i made on the subject
How Does Posting an OPINION of a Particular Fight Equate to it Being a “Fact”? You Spend an Inordinate Amount of Time FELLATING Yourself Over a False Presumption of Intellect, As Your Fightbeat Peers Laugh... Not With You, But AT You, SmartGuy... “Facts”... REED
Lol, youre confused my poor friend. Using data to say that the aggregate scores of a fight shows that most thought it was a close contentious fight is a fact not an opinion
It is hilarious to see people try to perpetuate the myth that Brook somehow dominated Porter or was in any way impressive against him. Just cannot fathom anyone's take away from that fight being that Brook was in any way impressive. It was a garbage performance
Opinion was divided on the fight really ... I think REED and X are wrong about the fight, but I don't think they're lying about it
